Before we finished school for the summer holidays, myself and Mrs Burford sent you this letter and gave you a few bits and pieces to do. If you haven't seen the letter or can't find it (Mum or Dad should have been emailed a copy), you can find a copy of it below.
A few of you asked me some questions, so I'll be posting them and my answers below!
We've got lots of great topics planned for this year! We'll be starting off the year with some Geography and History based topics before moving onto some Science, DT and more History in the Spring and Summer terms. Of course, we'll be doing lots of Reading, Writing and Maths too.
Early on in lockdown, I missed being able to see my Mum but luckily I was able to see her lots over the holidays!
I've recently planted a veg patch in my garden so I've been spending lots of time looking after that. I now have tomatoes, green beans, lettuces and peas successfully growing!
PE will be on Mondays and Fridays. We will only be doing outdoor PE this half term.
Once we're back at school, we'll be setting each of you targets and showing you what we want you to achieve this year to be successful!
The classrooms will look a little bit different to what you're used to: the tables will be in rows for the time being so we're all facing the front. Over the first few days back at school, we'll be having a chat about some of the other changes that you'll need to know about.
