To begin RE week, we looked at how Christians believe the world began. We went on a walk to Great Malvern train station to be inspired by creation and then returned to school to create a 'creation cube' - each day of creation is represented on a different side of the cube.
The Big Bang
On the second day of RE Week, we considered how some atheists believe the world began. We learnt about the Big Bang theory and then created Big Bang artwork - we used chalk to create the background of stars and small galaxies and then used paint blowing to create the Big Bang in the centre of the page. It was very messy, but the outcome was very powerful!
