What an amazing start to Year Four! It's been a jam-packed term with our pedestrian training, our lovely Harvest festival, a visit to the festival of stories at the Priory and our dance festival performance at The Chase. The children represented our school brilliantly at all events and everyone enjoyed themselves. Our P.E. days this term are Monday and Wednesday. We will be covering handball on a Monday and yoga on a Wednesday.  

 Please make sure your child has a waterproof coat in school every day as we like to get out and about as much as possible.

 

In English, we will begin by using Journey by Aaron Becker to inspire our story writing before moving on to using our geography and D&T work as inspiration for persuasive and procedural writing.

In Maths, we will explore area before moving on to multiplication and division, where we will develop our use of written methods.

In R.E. we will be thinking about the Trinity and why it is important for Christians.
