Welcome to Year Four! We'll use these pages to share any class news and reminders as well as photos of our learning adventures. You can find out what we are learning in our curriculum pages and you can find pictures of many of our learning experiences in our gallery. Keep checking back for updates. If there is anything you feel is missing that you'd like us to add please let us know and we'll be happy to see what we can do.

Physical Education - Whittington

Our P.E. days this term are Monday and Wednesday. We will will be covering the fundamentals of PE on a Monday and Dance on a Wednesday.  This term we are very lucky and will have a dance specialist leading our dance lessons to prepare us for a dance festival at The Chase on Monday 20th October!

 Please make sure your child has a waterproof coat in school everyday as we like to get out and about as much as possible.

 

Latest News – Britannia Bridge Primary School

In English we will begin by reading Listen - How Evelyn Glynnie, A Deaf Girl, Changed Percussion by Shannon Stocker and will use it as a basis for diary writing before moving writing our own version of her biography.

In Maths we will explore place value before moving on to addition and subtraction where we will develop our use of written methods.

In R.E. we will be thinking about what Hindus believe God is like.  

We will also be welcoming the team from Active Peace into school to lead a unit of work about celebrating differences.

Be on the lookout for a letter about our F.A.M.E. clarinet lessons which will be beginning very soon!
