I know that many of you are accessing the maths lessons when you can but may not be caught up with the exact place in the learning sequence we are currently following in the 'Suggested work for this week' tab. Lots of our lessons over the next few weeks will not be taken from White Rose as we are revisiting place value, money and some addition and subtraction before joining back with the White Rose scheme. I will therefore put any lesson instructions and worksheets that do not follow the White Rose scheme on this page in order for you to continue with our sequence of learning when you are ready.
Only one of our lessons this week was not on White Rose. We continued from Summer Term – Week 3 (w/c 4th May). The lesson below came after Lesson 3 but before Lesson 4.
Set up your own toy shop using some of your toys. Put labels on them to show how much they cost. Try to make sure they are 1 digit and 2 digit numbers. Use your coins to see if you can find different ways to pay for them.
Then have a go at the worksheet below. Choose your difficulty - 1 star, 2 star or 3 star.
