Your child's mathletes target will be highlighted on the letter they bring home.
By the end of year 2 children are expected to quickly recall their number bonds to 10 and 20 and their 2, 3, 5 and 10 times tables. As you already know the children are given mathletes sheets to help to support this. Children will be tested weekly on a Monday as usual. Each test is timed and the children have 3 minutes to complete it.
Our new mathletes sheets will be random every week but will focus on the same number facts that relate to your child’s personal target. Once children have moved on to their times tables, targets sheets will be randomly generated by this site:
This means that every week the question sheet will be different. Your child will bring home their marked sheet each week but the questions will be in a different order the week after.
To move on to the next mathletes sheet your child will need to complete the full sheet and get all answers correct twice.
