In school we encourage the children to use cursive handwriting. Your child has been given a handwriting sheet to keep at home to show you how each letter is formed. If you need another one then just let us know. 


If you want to practice writing at home with your child you could practice writing these letters on ordinary lined paper or a note pad. You could even practice writing the letters as part of words or sentences.  It is a good idea to practice the children's spellings using correctly formed letters too.

Here are some links to some resources that might help you to support your child at home. The most important thing is that you encourage your child to form their letters correctly and to write neatly if they are choosing to write at home. This includes work in their learning logs.
