We teach the children a cursive style of handwriting. This may look a bit strange at first as all letters start on the line and have a 'leader' and finish on the line with a 'follower'. By teaching the children in this way, they can quickly see how letters will later be joined together.
Good handwriting has to start with a good pencil grip. We encourage the children to help develop strong pencil grips by doing activities to strengthen their arms and hand muscles.
