Morning! We ALL had a good sleep - hurray! We all headed down underground today - we spent the day in a disused quarry near Penmachno. Year 6 were fantastic and tackled every adventure today with resilience and cheeriness... We had lots of different adventures underground - some of us paddled across a flooded chamber on a boat, some of us climbed a waterfall using a rope, some of us used our clipline skills to scale a steep wall in a disused chamber and we all had a go on a zipline across another flooded chamber. We ate our lunch in the dark and saw some magic (sparks created by rubbing two pieces of quartz together). This evening we headed to Llyn Padarn to test our map reading skills during an orienteering challenge. Well done to Jamie's team for being fastest!
