Monday
Today we left school and made the long journey to Snowdonia in North Wales. We arrived safely at the Arete Centre in the village of Llanrug and then headed out on our first activities. Holly's group explored holes and passages between boulders at the RAC boulders as they went weaselling. Jez's group donned harnesses and cowtails and practised their cliplining skills as they climbed in a quarry. Dan's group headed to Lion Rock near Llyn Padarn and went rock climbing. After our delicious evening meal, our first night activity was a walk along the coast to Caernarfon Castle. It was stunning first day!
