On Tuesday 7th June, Years 3 and 4 went on a trip to Cheltenham Science Festival. After we had got over the excitement of the luxury coach that was sent to pick us up, we took part in lots of activities. The Maker Shack was full of engineers who gave us a chance to use some of their equipment. We had a go at using 3D printers and 3D pens, programming robots, using different chemicals to see how they reacted with each other, and lots of other hands on activities. Next, we went to see a show called 'Frankenatomy'. Lots of lecturers from the University of Bristol were there to build a Frankenstein's Monster. They showed us some real parts of animals' bodies and we had a think about how they work together. By the end, they had built a body!
