We went to the Festival of Stories and met Jenny McLachlan who wrote Roar, amongst other books. She was fantastic and the children were very inspired to write about dragons. We had a dance party for our class awards treat which the children thoroughly enjoyed. We also had a games afternoon for our 'great to be green' treat and the children played beautifully together. All in all, a very busy end to the half term!
