Alongside information about what we are learning about this half term, there are also some photos of many of the things we have already done during our time in year 3. And wow, what a lot we have already managed to fit in! Have a look in the Term 1 Autumn Term tab.
About Year 3
In year 3 we have two teachers; Mrs Fletcher who works on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning in year 3 and Mrs Ferguson who works in year 3 on a Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday. We have a full time teaching assistant called Mrs Vance and two learning support assistants called Mrs Collier and Mrs Vita.
Our PE days are on a Monday and Wednesday. Your child will need to wear their PE kit to school on these days. If the weather continues to be warm, please remember to send in your child's sun hat and sun cream. The children are also welcome to wear shorts and t-shirt for PE instead of long trousers. Of course, as the weather starts to get cooler, joggers and a hoody/jumper would be more appropriate.
As the children are now in key stage 2, they will no longer be provided with a piece of fruit at school. Please feel free to send in two fruit/vegetable snacks that the children can enjoy during morning play, and if they want to during the afternoon in the classroom.
