Malvern Parish Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School caters for pupils between the ages of 4+ and 11+. It is situated in a residential area of Great Malvern in charming surroundings beneath the magnificent Malvern Hills.
The original Victorian building, dating back to 1857, has recently been extensively extended and refurbished to provide a stimulating and purposeful learning environment suitable for 21st Century education.
The School’s catchment area is large, based on three ecclesiastical parishes, drawing children from a broad social and academic range.
Aided status allows the governors to appoint the staff and in this way governors can ensure that all of the staff support the principles of a Church School. These are reflected not only in religious education and daily worship but also by applying Christian values to all aspects of the life and work of the school.
Malvern Parish is a happy and caring school with positive relationships and high expectations sought by staff and parents alike. Each child is seen as an individual with different needs, who is most likely to achieve their full potential in a school which offers a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
We have approximately 210 children on roll who are arranged in seven single-aged, mixed ability classes.
