We were lucky to go on a trip to Bishop's Wood to learn all about animals, plants and habitats.
We explored the forest with our senses, including looking at the forest canopy with mirrors, playing a blinfolded game of 'Guess your Tree' to use the sense of touch and made our own woodland cocktails to use our sense of smell.
We investigated minibeast habitats by looking carefully in dark, damp places to see which minibeasts we could find.
After lunch we had a hunt for animal footprints, built shelters for different woodland animals and created our own fairy gardens to entice fairies into our own gardens.
What an exciting and exhausting day we had!
